About
I create jewelry for women who are cherished for their honesty, authenticity, and natural beauty. It is for women who know themselves and confidently share that self with the world. They express their own style for their own pleasure and can comfortably let go of self-assessment to embrace life. They are collectors of what is lasting and seek adornment that reflects their values. They chose jewelry that bears the warmth of being created by a maker’s hand, the almost imperceptible variations that hold the eye, the layered processes that draw you in even as their own layered, complex, and nuanced self holds the attention of the people around them.
To that end, I create one-of-a-kind jewelry with an emphasis on texture and stones that I fashion individually for each piece using traditional methods. I am academically trained and received advanced training in specialized areas from leaders in the field, such as: lapidary (Michael Boyd), anticlastic raising (Michael Good), metal carving (Tom Herman), fold forming (Diane Reilly), and gold alloying (Wayne Werner). I am a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG).
